The Divine Miss M, Bette Midler once said “When it’s three o’clock in New York, it’s still 1938 in London”. Unfortunately I have to disagree because London is timeless. There is no beginning and an end. It’s just happening. I had the opportunity to live within its wall for two years and she fundamentally changed everything about me. London gave me the confidence that anything in life is possible. You don’t have to settle for others but you can build your own and enjoy it.
Then I jumped into a Eurostar train and I arrive in Paris. With 12 million inhabitants calling Paris their home, one of the largest population centers in Europe. My first time in La ville Lumeire (city of lights) was a mind blowing experience as well. It’s people, language, museums, streets are always pushing you to rethink about life. But I was lost in the unfamiliar but you fit in magically and I can explain it.
